This is one I would have missed on the "Dead or Alive," though I knew he wasn't immortal.
"The Immortals" is interesting because he basically rewrote/updated the novel about a decade or so ago to reflect changed technology and medical knowledge. Both the original and revised versions are good reads.
He also did a story or two on the OTR show "X Minus One." (Or maybe it was "Dimension X" - those two swapped a lot of stories.)

His death occurred back in December and I read about it at the time, although it wasn't as widely publicized as it has been this week.
