I didn't watch so don't know the story line.
What disease of the week was it last night?

Patient was a guy who was so incredibly nice and easygoing that House was convinced there was an illness involved.
It turned out to be some kind of parasite he picked up ten years earlier while doing volunteer work in Costa Rica. Building up to that, one of red herrings was syphilis. House also switched a sample of his own blood with someone else's just to fool with his staff--they became convinced that if a disease was making that patient nice, the same disease might be making House nasty.
