We'll need a consolidation soon, but I'm off to host pub trivia (outdoors) tonight.

If nobody's done one by tomorrow, I'll get on it then.

77. She was the first American woman to walk in space.
KATHY SULLIVAN

If we make it KATHRYN it can complete this:

88. JOE "The Boss" + 6. BREES + S = Joe Besser (Stooge)

77. KATHRYN SULLIVAN + 6. BREES - S = Kathryn Erbe (Eames)

Heh. Only 7 spaces earlier.

2. VIRGINIA Woolf + 43. Ambroise PARE +P = Virginia Rappe (Fatty)

Can't figure out the second part, though. The name must be Rae, or Rea. Can't see it being Era or Aer or other combos.
86. STEPHEN Crane + 43. Ambroise PARE - P = Stephen Rea (Crying)

So 50. is probably ROBERT OWEN, who bought the southern Indiana community about 15 miles from my home called Harmonie in 1824 and called it New Harmony, which it remains today. I'm so excited to have a piece of my home area in a Tangredi game!

If you've never heard of Harmonie/New Harmony, I urge you to check it out. It's fascinating history, and if you ever get to my neck of the woods (I'm looking at you, Snaxx!), I promise to show it off to you. My oldest son proposed to his now-wife there, and they still take a special trip there every year.

We may need to keep an eye on Associated words for this one. Armand Hammer was also chairman of Occidental Petroleum for a long time. And Ida Tarbell's expose of Standard Oil was also primarily about John Rockefeller.

As a general guideline: I made a self-imposed rule that the letters had to rearranged after the addition/subtraction. Glaser to Glasser would not have qualified, since it was a simple insertion.
