My cousin's son is about 40 -- he may still be 39, I dunno. He has a moderate case of the virus, and his doctor has him under a 14-day quarantine order. I dunno if that's enough, this is all uncharted waters. He travels extensively, including overseas, for his job, so I'm sure that's where he picked it up.

My observations based on their map is that the social distancing is directly proportional to the number of cases. In other words, if there aren't many cases in your area, you don't feel the need for social distancing.

The headline’s a bit misleading. The article says Italy has mostly been testing the elderly and patients with severe symptoms. South Korea is testing a bigger cross-section of the population, so they’ve detected more young patients with mild symptoms. Final results from the screening that has been done on just 38 people aren’t yet available, so health officials are essentially flying blind.
(UPDATE: On Friday, the county announced it had received word that a 54-year-old man tested positive for the virus. He is isolation at home and is “recovering well.”)
“We are presuming we have disease,” county spokesman Susan Lilly said. “We just don’t know how widespread it is.”
But two part-time Telluride residents have stepped in to try to solve the testing problem. They’re paying for everyone in the town of about 2,500 — whether they are symptomatic or not — and county to be screened twice in the coming two weeks for coronavirus using a new blood test that’s received preliminary OK from the Food and Drug Administration.

Our county, Montgomery, is now on stay at home order thru Apr 12. Harris Cty, Houston, has been on for awhile. Think there are 41 cases in our county. Oh, HEB is a large grocery chain, btw.

The two owners of the company I work for sent out an email to all of our employees today letting them know we are in good shape and are not laying off anyone, and letting everyone take off a few hours early yesterday (Friday) to enjoy the weekend.
Needless to say, the feedback was highly positive.
At least two apartment management companies in town have gone into total shutdown mode, just keeping minimal staff on for maintenance and processing payments (such as they will be), effective this week.
