US airbase in Iraq attacked by 10 missles

The Al-Asad airbase in Iraq has been attacked by 10 ballistic missiles. No damage assessment has been done yet.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Erbil was also attacked. They came from Iran. More than a dozen missiles in total. Still no word on casualties and damage. Iranian media claiming the attacks were in retaliation for the assassination.

Iran is either incompetent with its missile technology, or they deliberately caused no damage, perhaps in the hope of providing an off-ramp to current hostilities.
That said, I'm not entirely convinced that the airliner crash in Teheran is totally coincidental.... just a conspiracy theory at this point, but I'm really curious.

They also tipped off the Iraqis that an attack was coming, which they knew would result in the Iraqis notifying the U.S.
