There's a game I know called "Oh, Hell" that goes from 1 card all the way up to 13. The 13-card hand is played in no trump. All the other hands, a card is turned to set the trump suit. --Bob

Four-player game. Everyone has to bid for the exact number of tricks they're going to take in a hand, and the last person isn't allowed to make a bid that allows everything to work out just right. So in the 1-card hand, if everyone else bids 0, the dealer (who goes last) isn't allowed to bid 1. I can't remember whether the trump suit is known before the bidding starts, but I think it is. --Bob

Scoring: A successful bid of 0 is worth 5+number of cards in the hand. Any other successful bid is worth 10+bid. An unsuccessful bid is worth 0. --Bob
