Since someone on the bored always seems to post something about the latest shooting the media is interested in, let me take some time to put in a post about a murder that took place in Chicago today.

Most days I will have to do two of these posts, just to keep up with the average. Many days, I would have to do 4 or 5 of these posts. I don't know who the victims are. But the news media does, or they can find out if they want to. But they don't spend the time, because it's not interesting to them, and they can't advance their narrative. Some murders are more equal than others, I guess.

I don't know how on the level this website is, but it's pretty scary if it's true.

It took you long enough but I'm glad you finally realize how important it is to take steps to reduce the number of guns on the streets. I'm eagerly awaiting to hear your proposed new measures to help remedy the problem. By the way, did you vote for Hillary or Bernie last week?

It's those dang Guns that are doing the killing in Chicago. It's amazing how those Guns just hate Chicago and seem to zero in on certain neighborhoods in that city. Almost like they had a mind of their own.

What is your idea on 'reducing the number of Guns on the streets', SSS? Why don't we ban the black market with a few new laws?

So you think this black-out drunk wouldn't have just picked up a baseball bat, table lamp or anything else and bashed the unsuspecting plumber into oblivion? A blow to the head with a "lesser" weapon might have caused even more damage.

So you think this black-out drunk wouldn't have just picked up a baseball bat, table lamp or anything else and bashed the unsuspecting plumber into oblivion? A blow to the head with a "lesser" weapon might have caused even more damage.

A 70-year-old drunk trying to hit someone with a lamp or a baseball bat (assuming there was one around) is probably a lot easier to defend yourself against that the same 70-year-old man with a gun.

Apparently, he's not the only law abiding senior citizen with a gun to have a run-in with plumbers either:

How? Just tell me HOW you are going to make it so that 'some' people will not have Guns? How are you going to identify the people who shouldn't have guns and how are you going to make sure that they don't have one? By passing a law? What law will do that? What about the people who don't obey laws?

Guns won't go away just because you wish them to.

You've certainly convinced me, sss. You definitely are among the group of people who should never have guns! I think you should rid yourself of shovels, baseball bats and table lamps, too. There's just no way to predict what you might do with such potentially evil implements.

The link within your link indicates he was not "defending himself" against anything. He was working on the sink when he was shot.
