Recently they had a FJ clue about which state you can spell using only one row on a keyboard. The answer is Alaska-which I couldn't come up with in 30 seconds.
I'm just a game show nerd.

She's doomed, wasting a LL on something so easily figureoutable for someone who can type.

Now this, I have to applaud -- picking the right Plus One and the right Q to call him up for. Wow! He coulda started quoting their resumes.

Q1: Paprika would add stain & bay leaves plain make no sense but I basically dunno. JTQ

Q3: Phantom-typed & got it.

Q5: This is a geo-easy Q: Markey is from Mass, & Angus King used to be be gov of Maine before he became its senator. A geo-easy Q for NorthEasters.

Q6: Could have been any of them. Elvis would have been more likely to be backstage with the white guys in 56, as he wasn't yet the big star. Sedaka had the glitzy gear too but Liberace would have made the bigger showperson impression I think. Cross fingers & go for it.

Is it really geo-easy if a map won't help one get the answer?

If you are physically located in the NorthEast, you will see a lot of maps on TV at election-time. You will tend to pay more attention to the info from your region. Or you could just do it by paying attention to the local radio broadcasts. You're still geo-orienting, just not visually.

I travel to Maine once a month, if I can, to sing with people there, & got to hear King in a lot of radio debates on the way.

So by "geo-easy", you meant easy for someone who lives in northern New England.

?? I don't get the question. That's what she said.

I, indeed, meant it was easy for someone who lives in New England.
