Paquette never hit 4 HRs in a game.littlebeast13 wrote:Is still playing!?!?!? He's up for the Mets right now on ESPN....

Not sure he ever got 4 total bases in a game.

I think the Mets gave Tatis a minor league contract.littlebeast13 wrote:Is still playing!?!?!? He's up for the Mets right now on ESPN....

I was at the game, by the way, when Tatis entered the record books, and dragged Chan Ho Park with him. --Bob

Tatis didn't hit 4 homers in a game (That was Whiten for the Cardinals). Tatis' claim to fame was the feat Bob mentioned....
This was the first game I ever saw Paquette play in (It was also the first game I ever saw in KC), and the main reason he became one of my faves....

Oh yeah. My bad. Although Bob's message doesn't specifically say it, I now want to say Tatis had 2 slams in one inning. Right?

I didn't notice Bob didn't mention the feat, but you are correct....Peter5858 wrote:littlebeast13 wrote:Peter5858 wrote: Paquette never hit 4 HRs in a game.

I wonder how much "good stuff" he got from McGwire during his only 2 good seasons....

I've often wondered if the Craig Paquette playing MLB is the same one I knew when he was a 4YO kid growing up across the street from Gilbert Elementary School in Garden Grove, CA. He was one sweet, but VERY tough kid.littlebeast13 wrote:Peter5858 wrote:Paquette never hit 4 HRs in a game.littlebeast13 wrote:Is still playing!?!?!? He's up for the Mets right now on ESPN....

That would be funny if it was. He was born in Long Beach, and he'll turn 39 tomorrow....
