Arthur Walker, the Spy, has died in prison

#1 Post by themanintheseersuckersuit » Thu Aug 14, 2014 9:02 am

Arthur Walker, who has died in prison aged 79, was the oldest member of America’s notorious “family of spies” — three members of a naval clan who were discovered, in the mid-Eighties, to be handing classified information to the KGB.
The trio passed on a huge number of US secrets to the Soviet Union and were described as “the most damaging espionage ring uncovered in the United States in three decades”.
Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

John Walker, Arthur's brother and fellow traitor (see, I know what that word means) died Thursday in prison at age 77.

Ex-US Sailor Who Spied for Soviets Dies in Prison

John Walker spied for the USSR from 1967 to 1976. When he retired from the Navy, he recruited his brother Arthur and his son Michael to spy in his place.

Michael Walker spent 15 years in prison and was released in 2000. He's probably worried right now.

Wow. Did he pass on the blueprints for the NSA's time travel machine or just had access to use it? We can only hope that technology stays a secret in our hands.
..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.

So that technology doesn't exist? Darn.
