It's amazing and disgusting how cruel some people can be. I can't even begin to fathom what enjoyment someone could get from sending this type of garbage to a woman who's just lost her father. Sadly, she's now cut herself off from the many, many, many more people who were trying to offer sympathy and encouragement.

..what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? let them take arms.

War is where the government tells you who the bad guy is.
Revolution is when you decide that for yourself.

We cannot begin to imagine losing a parent — and dealing with it while the world watches.
So we feel nothing but empathy for Robin Williams’ daughter, Zelda. She has been the target of trolls on social media, who have been sending hateful messages and altered photos of her father, supposedly showing him after he died.
Here is what she wrote on Instagram:I will be leaving this account for a but while I heal and decide if I’ll be deleting it or not. In this difficult time, please try to be respectful of the accounts of myself, my family and my friends. Mining our accounts for photos of dad, or judging me on the number of them is cruel and unnecessary. There are a couple throughout, but the real private moments I shared with him were precious, quiet, and believe it or not, not full of photos or "selfies". I shared him with a world where everyone was taking their photo with him, but I was lucky enough to spend time with him without cameras too. That was more than enough, and I’m grateful for what little time I had. My favorite photos of family are framed in my house, not posted on social media, and they'll remain there. They would’ve wound up on the news or blogs then, and they certainly would now. That’s not what I want for our memories together. Thank you for your respect and understanding in this difficult time. Goodbye. Xo

People can be real asshats.
When reality requires approval, control replaces truth.
To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead. -Thomas Paine
You can ignore reality, but you can't ignore the consequences of ignoring reality. -Ayn Rand
Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities. -Voltaire
