Observations April 16, 2014 - Utopia

#1 Post by SportsFan68 » Wed Apr 16, 2014 10:25 am

Today's observation is quoted with our thanks to LittleBeast13 from a post of March 13, 2012.

The radio station out of Rolla, MO that I listen to on the way to and from Gridiron each year (which is where I heard Pumped Up Kicks for the first time) is about the closest there is to that radio utopia, but last time i checked, they didn't have online streaming.

LOL! Rolla isn't some one horse town with only one radio station! This is the station I listen to when I pass through there, and no, there's still no internet stream as far as I can see. They seem to have gone a bit more mainstream in the past year, as opposed to the first couple years I had found it, but it's still better than the closest thing the STL has to a variety station by light years....

Is Steve O' from 6-10am one of those fingernails-on-the-chalkboard morning drive-time shows that most radio stations seem to love so much? Those shows are why I listen to sports talk radio in the mornings.

And I saw the poll about how many games the Cardinals will win this season. 57.06% said less than 70. There must be some Royals fans in that area. But the total for all the choices was 116.95% so I don't know what to make of that result.

My bad. I found this page, but my window cut off between Saint Robert and Saint James and I assumed it was in order of either city or distance from, so I didn't look further for addional entries for Rolla. Now that I scroll it down, I see more stations, including yours.
