Well, this dude was alive at the time (and I don't see where elwood said that someone had to be alive to know it). But, either way, I don't see how you figure that. I know plenty of whacky stuff that happened to presidents before I was alive.

Anyway, in this particular case.....

I don't remember seeing this until years after it happened. I've now seen it approximately 5486505685033 times on youtube, gifs, retrospectives of all types, etc., etc. And that doesn't even count all of the comics, talk show hosts, commentators and the like who have referenced it 58405898580933 times over the years. It's classic pop culture at this point.

However, none of that matters. This is another case of forget about what the question says and look at what it's actually asking. Of the four answers given, how many of those is it even remotely possible that Dad Bush would have done in public to such a degree that it would become a catchphrase?

Looking at it realistically: The only one he couldn't control....
