The Saturday puzzles are indeed the most difficult of the week, with Friday not far behind. The Sunday puzzle is generally somewhere around the level of the average Thursday puzzle, but are 21x21 (and occasionally 23x23) instead of the daily 15x15.
Speaking of which, this Friday I'll be off to Brooklyn for my fourth trip to the
American Crossword Puzzle Tournament. Wish me luck; I'll need it this year...

Forgot to mention it this morning, but I got Perfecto #4 last night.... the truly clever maze puzzle, which when I first looked at it was the last puzzle I ever thought I'd complete....
