Cool shoes. Great bowling ball. Did you have trouble finding one with fingerholes small enough for a squirrel?

Nice balls you got there! I see you have extra. Someone must have had too much zinc and lost theirs...

Did you use the bumpers? Or just random toddlers wandering around? :P

No toddlers around, this is a serious league, or so I found out. The other bowlers actually had a hot debate in the pre-game meeting about whether to allow the alley to rent the place out 2 Fridays from now in exchange for a free week tacked on in May....

Then they had copious amounts of alcoholic beverages....

For the toddlers? :P I love how people drink and smoke up a storm and then claim the bowling as healthy exercise. You may as well go to a bar and play cornhole* instead.

*It is too a game! Some call it Baggo, but here it is cornhole and a huge hit among middle school math teachers for some reason.

I know all about cornholing!!! I took a picture of someone playing while walking through downtown Cleveland last year.....

I live in a smoke free state, and few bowlers will risk sticking up their shoes to run outside for a drag, so it was just drinking during game play...

That was why I could never use a house ball. If I found one with small enough finger holes that were close enough together (that was the reason that I first started inadvertently using a fingertip grip), it was generally an 8 pound plastic ball suitable for a 7 year old. If I was going to bowl now, I would be really tempted by an HK ball.....

Btw, apparently nobody ever told ES that you're supposed to sandbag the first week......

Were you eavesdropping on chat last night? We all decided you would have a log or
a report of some kind for us. You did not disappoint. I know your team is happy you
got better as the night wore on. Here's hoping your average improves every week!

The key question - did they serve Pepsi or Coke???

Solid improvement, LB. Keep it up.

It was really smart of you to make that first game on the first night so bad that all your teammates rolled their eyes and thought, "Oh, no! I hope this guy didn't buy new shoes and a new ball for this." On the second night, you showed them that they can expect much, much more. Not only are they happy, they are downright grateful to the gods that keep bowling teams from having to kill their own.

Well, since the other members of the team are my Mom, my aunt, and my step-grandpa, it may be a good thing I am keeping that from happening.....

And the ball and the shoes are both ass old.... I think the ball is actually older than I am.....
