If you want to know about geography or cats, ask Rain Man. I played that Lufthansa game 53,724 times trying to come close to his first attempt and I'm 3 times his age. The kid knows what he knows!
Hey! I know what I know too.
I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

I don't! I did. Maybe. Once upon a time...

I had a Siamese cat that loved the water. This is not unreasonable, since her ancestors undoubtedly were a fishing cats. Anyway, she used to jump into the bathtub with my then-toddler son and paddle around happily.

You always go with someone back and forth to college or theme parks if for no other reason than to share gas or only one of your friends has a car. I think my first solo long distance trip was flying up to NY to meet Steve for Christmas break and we drove back together (he had driven up previously but I was working,) so it was a matter of a flight lasting less than an hour by myself.
It's cheaper to go with someone and share expenses! And funner.
It's even cheaper to just stay home.....

You live in a house full of kids and you might save money but lose your sanity staying home!

I did see the highlights of the game, which is why I made that post. The original quote is from last September....

Interesting tidbit about the Quinn and Arencibia games. I was poring over the box scores to see if anyone had played or been in attendance (at least on the field) for both games...... and it hit me that there is a connection both feats share.....
The manager of both teams who allowed the feat was Joe Maddon.... he was managing the Angels at the time I saw them give up the pair of homers to Quinn.....

I lost my sanity in January 2004, when I first started lurking on the Love Boat.

Nope, I was off being the Tin Woodsperson. Or some facsimile thereof.
We have all the wood we need to stay toasty warm this winter sitting in our driveway. I wish it would magically split and stack itself . . .
