Funny to have an old guy hitting on Meredith, instead of seeing her flirting with the young hunks, but if the PC and contestant packet didn't convince his friends, wouldn't just seeing him on the show convince them, without the necessity for the kiss?
IIRC, he also mentioned that his friends convinced him to try out.
