Don't worry. No sick relatives. All is well, in fact, Sis just had followup checkup after radiation and all looks well!
Vibage request is for closing sale of Mom's condo in Florida. It's coming up on a year and haven't been able to sell it. I would dearly love to close this now and be done with all the estate stuff. It's been so draining to having all of this to take care of.
Let's hope this nibble takes the bait and the realtor sets the hook!
thanks, friends.
good vibage request

You've got good vibes from her.
We will be putting TLAF's rowhouse on the market after the holidays. I had hoped to do it months ago but it took much longer than expected to clear it out.
My folks moved here in 1969 and there's my accumulated stuff. So, lots of stuff.
Part of the delay, too, is that Mom needs to be back in Philly for a month. We have a wedding, a retirement party and a surprised 90th birthday party for her on three straight weeks.
So, I couldn't clear out the furniture or the kitchen stuff. The woman will be 90; she is used to a bed and a couch.
We will probably list it for substantially less than a similar house in the cul-de-sac across the street sold for three weeks ago.
Someone described that house as a "palace." Our house will be upgraded somewhat (my cousins are my contractors) but certainly not to "palace" status.
Such are the realities of the marketplace, although the downturn doesn't seem to have hit here as much as other places.

I hope I don't get in trouble for having my vibe-o-rator on so much at work....
