Roy Pearson loses his Million Dollar Pants appeal
The DC Administrative Law judge who sued his dry cleaners over lost pants, lost his case, his job and now his appeal.

Actually I should have been reporting that he lost his petition for rehearing the appeal.

Suitguy is not bitter.
feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive
The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

One would think that spending a million dollars on a pair of pants, that they would certainly be appealing - I hope he saved his reciept so he can get a refund. Granted they probably looked great in the store, but it is the appeal they have in everyday life that is important.

Not many people use them any more around here. The feeling is that the gun rack, even empty, makes the truck a target for break-ins by bad guys looking for guns.ulysses5019 wrote:But I don't have a gun rack yet. I'm sure I could get you an NRA bumper sticker and a Toby Keith CD.
