Also

Make that "would you please" rather than 'could you'.

I know you could.

Suggestion: putting this and similar useful information on the use of the bored (how to rename URL's comes to mind) in a separate category in the Forum Index.
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

The shrinking pictures thread has been unstickied, moved to the Suggestion Box forum (for lack of a better place), and restickied there....

I don't know if we have an FAQ we can add to yet. I'll leave that to tubadave....

Well, the fact that the final QoD for November isn't even closed yet might have made it appropriate to leave it and the Rankings stickied.

But, what the heck.

Sorry.

I saw the one at the top of the page and thought it was ours, but now I see it's phpbb's. I withdraw that suggestion until it's practical. Or even possible.

I restored its status, since the thread had a premature destickification. Apparently, if it ever needed to be sticky, it still does for another day or two.

If you read the thread where this is discussed, people other than myself decided that only the three current questions should be up there, whether others were still open or not. I thought you had already announced the November winner and it was wrapped up.

I will put the rest of December on hold until you're finished with what you're doing.

A FAQ is not only practical and possible, it's in the works. Just don't ask me for an ETA.

That's not entirely true. For people with relatively small monitors, it's a pain in the tuchis to have a large number of Sticky threads because they're always on top. (Much like an inconsiderate husband.) --Bob

I certainly have never seen it.

We are far too mature and rational to ever have that happen.

It's permanently attached, it was cheaper that way.

Speaking of sticks, try not to be so defensive. You got pissy because I asked that the standings be taken off while your QOD was still open and not final.

I was pointing out that I wasn't the one who decided only current day's questions should be stickied and I thought that you had already announced the winner and it was done.

So, I was trying to be considerate of you and your gig. The "finished what you're doing" part was because I had no idea what you're doing (as I said, I thought you posted a congratulations to the winner).

I'm only explaining this for the benefit of the those who replied in this thread and others of interest. Although I'm hoping that, like Bob, most people understood that I wasn't readjusting my stick with a 'screw you guys, I'm going home'.

No, I define an inconsiderate husband by the amount of clothes he leaves on the floor or by his unwillingness to help take the kids from place to place on his day off.

I was just surprised that Bob made the comment.

When I go into Immature nudge-nudge mode, it's usually best to either ignore me (like Bix does) or tell me to bite you (as Pea does). YMMV.
