Pilot says he hit a flock of geese. 169 passengers and 5 crew.

US Air flight from LaGuardia to Charlotte. Hit a flock of geese and pilot chose to ditch in the Hudson. The plane looks intact and it appears that most or all passengers have been evacuated.

Plane fuselage is still above water. Surrounded by rescue boats.

Sounds like another heroic effort by well-trained pilots and crew.
