Should I mention that it was 88 degrees here and I couldn't find a pool for Zap at Target yesterday to help him cool off.

I believe that's what lily meant by "please no sticking tongues out from the warm weather BB's."

Even if Zap needed to do a lot of tongue-sticking-out, to stay cool!

He's been panting like crazy. He has a lot of nervous energy because I can't walk him like I usually do when the temperature is mild.

It's 34 here right now. That is really cold for 1pm in central Mississippi. Our low tonight is supposed to be 20. David bought some covers for our outdoor faucets and I think I will give Samantha the electric blanket tonight and tomorrow night. Her room seems to be the coldest in the house as it faces north and has two windows.

I am still kinda used to really cold weather. Living in Northern Indiana for 5 years made me appreciate the crappy cold that most of you are going thru right now. I can't imagine having a little baby and having to take them out in this kind of cold. Olivia had a well baby visit to the doctor this morning and I still bundled her up good.

I intuit that my children and husband will want hot chocolate tonight. I will make the good stuff cuz cold weather like this calls for homemade hot chocolate

They wouldn't discharge us from the hospital for a day or so after he was born because he had a temperature and they couldn't find a reason. The doctor finally gave up and said he'd be a single-blanket baby all his life. He was right! I've told some of his teachers about him, but I don't want anyone calling Child Protective Services on me for letting him run around underdressed, so it's sleeves tomorrow at least. I'll work on the coat and not just sweatshirt for the bus stop, too. Kids....

On of the Reagan inaugurations was really really cold for D.C., newsworthy cold. But I remember them interviewing a female marching band member from one of the Dakotas. Bless her heart. She said This ain't cold, we practice in colder weather that this.

Silly, the waterinside the pipes could burst. I have no idea what David does with stuff outside the house. I just let him take care of that crap cuz it makes him feel manly.

Real hot chocolate consists of cocoa powder, whole milk, sugar and vanilla extract. Mine will prolly have a we bit of Kahlua in it. Kahlua keeps you extra warm and snuggly.

I would like Samantha to be able to move while sleeping and not sleep like a little corpse.

I was stuck in New Albany for two days due to freezing rain eleven years ago. That was cold for Mississippi!
