Back to the Farm
Because of the wacky winter here, Big J has not been able to get out to the farm to work with the horses. Two of his visits over the holidays were canceled due to snow, the road to the farm was impassable for my car, and one due to severe rain.
He is looking forward to getting back there tonight to see his "Ursie" LOL.

I drove off my driveway on December 20. I did not drive off the property again until January 9. I will not be driving off again until I get unscared.
The driveway is being sanded as I type.

I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

Quite interesting session, according to the trainer.
She said that Ursie basically ignored BIg J for about 5 minutes, then attempted to become the "dominant" member of the team. She said that Big J maintained his calm, and continued to push Ursie out of his space with just hand gestures. Finally, Ursie settled down and let Big J be the dominant partner.
He started to learn "accupressure" today, and from what I hear, Ursie really responded to it. As we were getting ready to go, she was butting him in the arm with the side of her head, looking for scritches and carrots.

Sounds like the ES begging technique.
