I just saw it a couple of weeks ago....it's great! I HIGHLY recommend that you check the Mirage website, and see if the tickets are available cheaper there....they had a 25% off price when I went, but that's not for every performance.

I would see it if one of the other shows is not available. And I may be able to talk Mom into staying another day and spending less time in Encino.

And we don't all have to do the same thing.

But if not this trip, there is always another trip (likely in late summer).

$10 is my maximum level to sit down to. If I am winning and they raise it, I stay. I will not sit down at a $25 table, no way, no how.

I like to sit at $10 too. You can back down when you're down, but always have the option of jacking it up. I seem to do better at the $25 tables somehow though... it takes away the chicken-out factor.

We will coordinate driving and such.

Mom has a friend who spends 4-5 months a year there and the rest in the mountains here.

We are supposed to spend 2 days with him and 2 days in Vegas, but I bet we could get it to 3 and 1.

We are flying into LAX Tuesday morning, April 14, and we leave there around noon Saturday. If we spend T-W -Th nights in Vegas, we could drive back Friday morning and spend Friday and Saturday morning with her friend.

I'll ask.

Not free.

No one picking up the tab.

Everyone pays their own way.

Well, maybe I can earn the trip by picking up folks along the way. Hey, MARLEY, want to be navigator?

The only time I had the leisure for my Great Almost-Coast-to-Coast Road Trip was when I was unemployed. While I'd like another road trip, this probably isn't the best economy to be wishing for that...even if it is a "favorable" one for making it happen. :|

What's a few thousand miles to see friends?!

Let's see, my niece is in SOUTH BEND, one of my BFFs lives in TOPEKA, and so all we need are a few bored'ers in those flat states and maybe just one in Colorado.

And BuenaVista could sponsor the journey ... And of course, the documentary. Or would it make a better reality show? ... And maybe I could get one or two speaking engagements (anyone need a humorous speaker on decluttering?) and I could write off the trip! : )

We could ALL share the options from the book, of course. And is it Frank who could write the screenplay for the Broadway show? If we made a musical, I could try my hand at lyrics as I'm currently revising Christmas carols with decluttering themes (Let It Go! Let It Go! Let It Go!), although I admit I'd be no good at melodies.

If you can get here (Indiana west of South Bend), you can leave your car here, and we can take my SUV the rest of the way.
