Oh, ha! I forgot about the paper I always put inside with the addresses. I thought you were making a funny about my writing being so good it looked like a printer had done it. Okay, so now you know that I don't have beautiful penmanship and I can no longer front about it and will go join Mini in the crappy handwriting line.....littlebeast13 wrote:The slip of paper inside with my address was handwritten....WheresFanny wrote:Actually, that wasn't my writing. People have notebook pages?? Is your girlfriend Kiki one of them?
No, I have never sent Kiki anything before. But three people who all live in the same general area have all received stuff from me in the past, and along with it, the gift of Bored history.....

Rain Man holds his pencil wrong and makes his letters go top to bottom rather than bottom to top, and the OT was working on correcting that, until we realized that we were trying to fix something that was merely different and not wrong. The ends justify the means with him. It's not the way everyone else does it, but the letters end up looking just like the charts. Just perfect.WheresFanny wrote:Oh, ha! He's a righty. I'm one of those weirdos who does learned things as a righty and natural things as a lefty. So I bat right but throw left. When I positioned my paper like we were supposed to, I wrote with a backslant. And my fourth grade teacher had some grudge against them, so every paper handed in with a backslant was given an immediate zero. I can't hook my hand like most lefthanders (there's a theory about hook writers and brain dominance, so that might be part of the reason he starts in a different place) to pull the pencil instead of pushing it. So, necessity being the mother of invention, I just started writing sideways.
It helps in calligraphy, though, since that's more like drawing lines than writing.

I'm thinking about staging an uprising against Mini-me's 4th grade teacher! It has to be her way or else. Poor Mini-me failed a book report that she loved but he didn't follow her little checklist to the letter.littlebeast13 wrote:Holy crap! The only F I EVER got on a report card was in Science in 4th grade. We did like 2 science assignmenta that quarter, and I got a bad grade on them because my handwriting sucked......
Me, and Sisters #2 & 4 all had trouble with that bitch. The other 2 got the easy 4th grade teacher. Not that I hold a grudge or anything.....
