Bots don't have the capacity to assume blame, do they? Or make change for $20 bills when they're paid $10?
Well, then

Daniel and Sirge dragged them in from the Other Side of the Tracks......

Suitguy is not bitter.

feels he represents the many educated and rational onlookers who believe that the hysterical denouncement of lay scepticism is both unwarranted and counter-productive

The problem, then, is that such calls do not address an opposition audience so much as they signal virtue. They talk past those who need convincing. They ignore actual facts and counterargument. And they are irreparably smug.

With the bored changes, I can't find the 'chat' button anymore. A more sensitive type might be offended. I'm just puzzled.

Dave hasn't installed a chat feature for this Bored yet. We still use the old chat site, the link for which can be found in the Bored Reference thread at the top of the page....

Be careful of trying that with Facebook! Write the word diet once and get permanent diet ads on the side of the page! I need to start writing about something else to get the ads to change, I just haven't decided what yet.

You're going on the assumption that she doesn't want to receive ads about leather clad little people having at it in a wading pool full of gelatin.
