Christie!

#1 Post by sunflower » Wed Nov 12, 2008 9:08 am

I have been meaning to tell you that I checked stop and shop for the jugs of red wine vinegar. They had white and cider, but no red wine. I check everytime I go in a different one...and they didn't have it at the one near my house, near my boyfriend's house or near work.

I know we talked about this a really long time ago, and although I keep forgetting to post, I didn't forget to look! Just wanted to let you know.

I need some, too! I had to use cider vinegar in the pot roast, and I can't stand the sickly-sweet smell of balsamic. White vinegar is for cleaning and dyeing Easter eggs..........

Isn't it weird?

I have tried Big Y and Shaw's as well.

What has happened to gallons of red wine vinegar?

Another mystery of the universe.....

The ONLY thing I can think of is asking at Subway if they'll sell you one.

I know at least at mine they refill their red wine vinegar bottle from a jug of Heinz (I think) red wine vinegar. Maybe if you make friends they'll sell you one or two.

Did you ever check BJ's or Sam's? They might have it?

It's all his fault. That'll be $10.

If you have an organic nursery store near you, they should have it.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.
