Re: 2008 Election -- Presidential Results
Colorado and Florida have also gone to Obama.
This puts Obama at 333 Electoral Votes.
And we still haven't gotten the final results from Indiana, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, or North Carolina.
It looks like an Obama landslide of 350 EVs is totally possible.

Seems the pollsters didn't know diddly- they had the battleground states tightening while the popular vote was widening...when in fact most battleground states remained unchanged and the popular vote tightened.

I'm not sure that the popular vote has tightened. I suspect a lot of the remaining uncounted popular vote is on the West Coast, where Obama will run up big margins. --BobJeemie wrote:...with only a 2-3% popular vote win.NellyLunatic1980 wrote:Colorado and Florida have also gone to Obama.

Nevada is in for Obama, and it looks like AP has called Indiana for Obama as well. That's 349 electoral votes. --Bob

AP has called Montana for McCain.
However, something strange appears to be going on in Georgia. Apparently, vote totals are far too low. AP doesn't have the presidential race called for anyone there. --Bob

The vote totals in Georgia do not include approximately 2 million early votes from Fulton and Gwinnett Counties. I think Obama will end up winning Georgia. --Bob

I'm actually surprised at Virginia and NC. I was watching Fox News when they called it for Virginia. Brit Hume already looked pissed before that, though.
(Yes, I'll watch anything and everything. I'm a Fair and Balanced channel surfer. When Fox said Virginia first, I knew it wasn't wishful thinking on their part and had to be true!)
