I fly Southwest from Birmingham to Louisville. It's been a Godsend. Not expensive - 45 minutes from takeoff to landing.

I love Southwest! :) :) :)

Uh oh!

Beast and mini are going to get in a fight now!

All because mini decided to use her avatar for some gratuitous advertistment. And that's not Rexer's fault!

I don't care. That's still $10. And I can't bill you because gh0sts never pick up their mail.
Enough already. It's my fault! Get over it!

That'll be $10, please.

In my vast airline experience, if Southwest is late taking off, it's maybe two or three minutes, and they'll more than likely land you early anyway. Most flights are direct, so no missed connections or lost luggage. Sometimes the fares are higher, but there are no add-on fees once you buy your ticket. Unless you can't travel without your grand piano for some reason.

Plus the founder's last name is my maiden name, so we might be related!

Not to mention, change your mind and don't go on that flight, they just hold your credit for you. No penalties!

Fight? We don't fight! We bicker. And then we use the results as an excuse to drag out the MM.

I rarely get mad, and I can't imagine ever getting mad at beast. Or anyone here, actually. Usually "peeved" is as bad as it gets.

The car is NOT flooded, but it is running a little funny. I doubt I'd make it all the way to the coast....

I'll have to send ES down to WDW to chew on a few vital wires on those rides....

I think the only ride malfunction we ever had was the time Steve and Mini-me were on the TTA when it CRASHED! Into another train of cars! The thing is really low-speed, but still.

They had to send a crew up to walk them down a ladder near Space Mountain. It was the highlight of Mini-me's trip. I suppose when you've done everything a bazillion times, you like it when the unexpected occurs...

I don't have the amusement park experience you have, but I've never had a ride break down while I've been on it. The closest I came was sometime back in 1987ish, the first time me and Sister #1 were brave enough to ride the Screaming Eagle roller coaster at Six Flags. We waited in line almost half an hour, and finally got to where we were second in line..... when the thing shutdown while the train that just left was approaching the top of the first hill. So all that time wasted, and we didn't get to ride it until the next year.

I heard those poor souls were stranded way up there for upwards of an hour. I'm glad i was not one of them.....

If you're like brother and sister, you should being going to WDW, too. Then Stephen could ride with Uncle Beast while mini takes Erin on the kiddie rides.

Unless "Small World" and the Teacups are more your speed! :P
