My sister just called with the daily update on my mom's situation in Louisville.

So, I'll blame it on her.

BTW, my mom's power was restored last night. Almost a week without power.

Now they've got to get the refrigerator restocked. My sister did salvage the frozen food by taking it to her house. Everything else had to be thrown out.

Glad to hear that your mom has power - our neighborhood is still without it. According to the newspaper the utility company can't tell us when we might have our electricity back "for security reasons".
