This may be a strech, is "christie1111" Nancy Christy?

I should be so lucky.
But I had my Bored handle before our resident female millionaire became a millionaire. So it is just my good fortune to be confused with her not a sad case of stalking.

Christie's is pretty, 'gor's makes me alternately laugh and gag; mini's surprised me not-at-all

I loves them all.

That's a quilt?
I am duly impressed; I thought it was a painting.

I don't know, and I've been unable to find the location again - maybe it was something that the moderators turned off once I brought it to light (which is fine with me).

Does having half a dozen of his songs on my MP3 player count?

The quilt is beautiful. I knew that you quilted and it's really cool to see one of your quilts as an avatar.

AJ seems to have exceeded the 200 x 200 pixel max. Did someone increase the limit? Was there a vote?

Nothing is too big if the board settings allow it. The limit had been set at 200 x 200, but somehow you exceeded that, so I assume someone boosted the size limit. Your latest avatar is 248 wide, which forces the left margin of everyone elses posts to be shifted to the right. I don't know who changed the avatar size limits, but we might want to change it back to 200 x 200, so we have more space for actual posts.

I'm there on the 18th for the noon taping and 9:45 audition, air travel from PA willing. If that's your date, we should meet up.
Anyone else going then?
I just ordered chicken and an egg from Amazon. I'll let you know.

Don't know what happened. I just checked & the avatar size is still 200 by 200. Unless Dave did something....Grumble, perhaps

I didn't touch it. If anything, I had occasionally wondered if I had set it too big....increasing it is definitely
not something I'm thinking about.
Perhaps the phpBB software can be tricked occasionally. That wouldn't surprise me.

We used to have a Former Contestant thread.
Maybe that should be revived.
I can tell you that among the folks who have posted here already, we account for over $3,000,000 won on BAM. And counting all current and former "regulars," we could claim far more than that.

Wow, that's pretty impressive. I was thinking about making a Who Wants to be A Millionaire game thread here. I could write 15 of my own questions (and get a few obsurce ones from the shows) and see if you Millionaire enthusiasts can win a virtual million on my little thread.
It could be a weekly thing, if people liked it.

We have a thing called "Question of the Day" that will soon be making a return to our new digs.

The Millionaire Question tree has been used in the QoD before, but that isn't my plan.
Shade, if you want to post trivia questions, I doubt anybody will take issue with it.
Just be prepared for people to argue with you over the wording of the questions; the validity of the answers; and your lineage.

lol, well I could use a challenge. The way I've done this on other boreds is I asked for one contestant and I act as host while they are the contestants in the hot seat. They try to win 1 Million virtual dollars, if they win 1 Million or 500,000 they will be added to my Hall Of Fame (which will be in the first post of each new thread). It will be like the show where they get 3, then 4 life lines.
