The Republican primary race to replace Mitch McConnell is really funny to me - there are three candidates and each one accuses the others of being "woke", and how he will support the Trump agenda. Then there's the primary race for the seat held by Thomas Massey. His opponent has Trump's "full and complete support" and accuses Massey of being "woke", not to mention Massey's opposition to some of Trump's actions. All of these men are spending a lot of advertising money - their ads are running during the Olympics, and I'm reasonably certain that those aren't cheap.

I'm not watching the Olympics. I used to look forward to watching them, but now I find I have very little interest, since I have cut the cable and especially having to pay for it. But I have seen glimpses of the coverage in other places, and mainly what I see here is some unnamed group funding nasty attacks on Governor Candidate Burt Jones, and all kinds of non-stop ads (also every day in my mail) for a new billionaire who came out of nowhere and who wants to be Governor, Rick Jackson. I haven't seen any TV ads for Raffensperger, but have seen some of his posts on X. All of them are overwhelmingly accompanied by insults and negative comments about him. Raffy may be using the wrong venue to promote himself. I have no comment on any Democrat ads. I haven't seen many, but my comments would probably be the same for all of them.... BS.
