He was indicted solely because Trump doesn't like him. I don't think they even expect to get a conviction. This is to harass him and to warn others not to go against the Mad King.

The case apparently is so iron tight that Trump is trotting out an insurance attorney to prosecute.

It's curious that "small government" MAGAhats think that Comey maybe saying something untruthful five years ago is worth all this effort - until you realize it's all vindictiveness, fear, and revenge, and not good government, that they are about.

Well, certainly Trump doing in 2016 the same thing Hilz did (with zero repercussions) was worth the effort in 2024.
