Epically stupid, yes.
What did it actually accomplish, other than a chance to troll another leader and get people like you excited?
It didn’t change a single policy. It didn’t save a single life. He was just jerking someone around so that you would laugh about it, because that’s your level of involvement with this or any other issue.
And now South Africa is never going to help us with anything. To be clear, they already were sort of in the Russian orbit. They have traditionally been pro-Russia because the Soviet supported them against the apartheid regime. But the recent coalition they had some white people in the government, and there may be some room for flexibility if you have a leader, who’s great at making deals come in and make a deal. The country does have some resources and it is important for security in that part of the world.
He didn’t help the situation by whipping out photos from another country in Africa. But then, you probably think they’re all the same.
I’m told Trump is great at making deals, but it seems like he only really makes deals with Middle Eastern countries that hide terrorists, but also can give him a bunch of money.
But you got your giggle! Just like Trump really showed Zelensky (news update, the war continues) and he’s also trolling Harvard (bad news, they actually have a lot of important contributions to American society and science).
Do you think it would be possible if we just had a reality TV show where Trump went around and acted like a dickbag, and you got to laugh at him bullying others? Let’s say we paid him $2 million a day to do that. I think if we did that, he would get his money, and you would have something to watch, instead of cheering while he fucks over the world.

Is it your contention that there is not a genocide of white farmers in South Africa? In your answer-please explain the Witkruis Monument without reference to Trump.
An observation about South Africa is that people like you regard its history as ending with the end of Apartheid and everything has been hunky-dory since.
The future of South Africa is very easy to predict. The white farmers will be killed and/or removed from the land. Incompetent and corrupt ANC officials will end up owning the land. Food production will plummet and famine and starvation will loom.
The South African government will blame the lack of food production on "Climate change and colonialism." Western liberals such as yourself will buy that story-hook-line and sinker.
Note-that is exactly what happened in Zimbabwe. A few years after the land was taken there-famine loomed and "climate change" was blamed. Liberals on this Bored bought it hook-line and sinker.
And-BTW-in the process-since many farms and ranches have been converted from cattle to wildlife-much of the wildlife in South Africa will disapear.

To very clear, much of the evidence Trump presented was faked, because we live in a fake news world where the folks who complain the most about fake news also use fake news the most.
The Witkruis monument, for example, probably has an extra 2000 crosses on top of those killed - which is notable, since it has about 3000 crosses.
With that said, if South Africans feel in danger for their lives and feel they can contribute here - then they are welcome. Just like those fleeing Venezuelans are, and those Afghans who translated for our troops. In other words, ALL of God's children, not just the white ones.
One other point. If South Africa wants to govern itself poorly and undermine its farming system - let that be a lesson to us. Stupid ideology is harmful in many forms. This includes Maoist Trump's war on science - which is only making China into the science superpower. Just because other governments are stupid, we don't have to be stupid, too.
