FEMA workers told to avoid help those with Trump signs in an area of Florida.

Sounds a little authoritarian and like punishing your political opponents to me.

The Post adds that the supervisor who gave that unacceptable order has been fired.

Besides being an abuse of power and inhumane to residents who need her help, it shows extreme stupidity. Everyone knows that signs get blown from one yard to anther in a f---ing hurricane.

You know, a few weeks ago there were several stories floating around of shenanigans by FEMA apparatchiks in North Carolina.

This story makes me think that there might be some truth behind those stories.

It’s unfortunate, but also appears that they caught the bad actor and fixed things.

As for this being what was rumored, it was not, as the rumors were about North Carolina.

Something worse would be a president suggesting that California not get wildfire relief, because “they” voted against him. Of course, the parts of California affected were more Republican.

It sounds like that particular president could have more granularity and WISDOM amirite. It’s too bad he doesn’t have a pompous blowhard from Minnesota to tell him that.

Just two incidents - hardly an epidemic. Most anti-government folks just spew BS on Twitter without taking action. The targets of threats still take them seriously though. I often hear of schools locked down and searched because of an online threat.
