The election itself is notable for some milestones:

First Republican to win the popular vote since George W. Bush (2004)
First winner after a previous loss since Richard Nixon (1968)
First VP with a beard since Charles Fairbanks (1904)



First VP with a mustache since Charles Curtis (1928)



Curtis was also the first president or VP of color (Kaw Nation).

Let me add an event: Trump will step down because of health issues. I’d make the same prediction if Biden was re-elected. Woodrow Wilson remained in office for 17 months after a stroke. No president could get away with that today.

I also expect Pres. Vance will pardon Trump for whatever criminal charges he faces after leaving office. He’ll also pardon Biden, Pence and Gen. Petraeus for mishandling classified documents. It gives the impression that what Trump did wasn’t extraordinary.

BiT-You are a better man than I am. Since he is going down this road-I hope he spends the maximum amount of time being as miserable as possible for the next 4 years. Krox-Good wishes on spending large portions of your limited time on this earth obsessing over Trump and continually clutching your pearls.

Lord knows you have spent a lot of the last decade doing so-I guess you are going for 15 years now.

And the best part is that the perpetual clutching of the pearls over every little thing only helped to win the election for Trump.

Krox-Just know in your heart that a large part of your life for the last decade has been a tale full of sound and fury signifying nothing.

This is just me being selfish-

But personally, I really hope that people like Krox never figure out their best revenge on President and President Elect Trump, and, realistically, the only one under their direct control would be to not let him live rent-free in their heads anymore.
