Flock on Not Gloating

#1 Post by Spock » Wed Nov 06, 2024 1:06 pm

Flock in another thread.

>>>"I am not gloating. I am just presenting the facts."

Screw that. We put up with their crap here and other places for years and we got this wonderful and unexpected result. I can gloat if I want.

But, I am not really gloating. Actually, I have been getting more and more pissed today about the crap we have taken for years. This is just highlighted (as I posted in another thread) about the lying made-up Iowa poll over the weekend.

All that anti-Trump crap here for years was just sound and fury signifying nothing.

The erromeous Iowa polling is not de facto evidence of nefarious intent by the media.

It may be as simple as polling likely voters and not being cognizant of frat bros voting for first time, increasing rural turnout, and disgruntled voters who voted with their wallets.

I watched mainly NBC and ABC last night, wondering why they were so hesitant to call swing states where it was clear that there were not enough votes for Kamala Harris to make up the persistent gap, and they seemed baffled how she was not doing better in college towns. It took them forever to take serious the number of fraternities who organized voting, as well as the number of disgruntled Gaza protester students who may have said "a pox on both of your houses."

I think that Donna Brazile is still convinced that there is a path to victory. (The SNL skit writes itself. Actually, they simply can rewrite the 2016 post-election skit and just move the scene location from an election watch party to the set of one of the network's coverage. Maybe have Trump use the "equal time" owed to him to poke fun at how badly things went for the network news folks who clearly wanted him to lose.)

I think some props ought to go to Lara Trump for her plan to protect the vote.

Yeah, the leadership change from Ronna McDaniel (correct name?)was needed. I don't think we win with her still running the RNC.

I mainly watched the Charlie Kirk stream on election night and what drove them to do what they did for turnout in a number of states was the realization that the RNC was going to do nothing in Arizona and somebody needed to step up.

What Charlie Kirk and Turning Point did in the battlegrounds and by going to college campuses probably made the difference.

Arizona, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania seemed to have been their main focus.

I am embarrassed that I haven't previously supported or joined or whatever Turning Point and I plan to rectify that.

Yes, Charlie did a great job, as well.
