I love how liberals, including the usual suspects here, are firm proponents of the "United States as Magic Dirt" argument.
IOW, you can bring in hundreds of thousands of dirt-poor Haitians who grew up eating ANYTHING they can find; but as soon as they land on the "Magic Dirt" of the United States they essentially turn into WASPs and they would never, ever, never eat anything opportunistically again.
There have been major issues for years here in MN with the Hmong and getting them to comprehend and follow game laws. It is just the way of it when you bring in cultures who are used to eating anything. They have to be slowly brought up to speed.

But it doesn’t follow that you shut down the borders.
Things may take time and education, but if people are figuratively, hungry to contribute, then they will, and society will better.
The most famous Hmong in the world is Minnesota native and Olympic gold medalist Sunisa Lee.
Trump’s comment was made to be inflammatory and to scare people, which only leads to people getting hurt.

Shutting down borders has nothing to do with eating pets, spiders, parakeets, your family anole.Weyoun wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2024 2:16 pmNothing that you said is untrue.Spock wrote: ↑Fri Sep 13, 2024 1:44 pmI love how liberals, including the usual suspects here, are firm proponents of the "United States as Magic Dirt" argument.

It has to do with bad actors, drugs, all of us paying taxes, and whatever else, to contribute to non-contributors draining our economy.
But, that's too fucking simple. On both sides.
Well, then
