So much for any time, any place

Donny is apparently only willing to debate someone his own age. He has pulled out of the previously agreed debate on September 10. Vice President Harris will be there even if she has to debate an empty lectern.
Typical response of a wannabe-bully when confronted by someone strong enough to stand up to them. —Bob

There is no debate between Trump and Biden. Unless Joe wants to do one. I'm sure trump will oblige him.
Biden was the one who pulled out. Or to be more precise, biden was forced out by his handlers because of how awful he did in the first one. But your comments on it show how shallow you are. Trump has already agreed to debate Harris. He wants more than one. Why hasn't Harris accepted yet?
Just carrying water for the swamp, as always, booby.

I can't say for certain, but I suspect the reason is because Trump doesn't really want a debate. He wants fawning FOX correspondents asking him softball questions in front of an audience of MAGA supporters who will shout and cheer his every pronouncement.

So that's why he agreed to, and attended a debate hosted by CNN?
So that's why he attended IN PERSON the National Association of Black Journalists? While the "black" candidate didn't?
How about he doesn't want to commit because the DNC can't commit (to their candidate). Harris is not the official "second choice" candidate, yet.

Ear, Fox News is not what it used to be. They are now RINOs at the top, if anything. Murdoch's children and RINOs like Paul Ryan run it now. And it shows.
Even so, trump accepted without reservation the terms laid out by biden's campaign. Going on 2 networks that are unabashedly anti trump. Accepting moderators that
compared him with hitler and accused him of rape (
Stephy has a lawsuit against him for that). No audience, moderators control the mics, etc etc. And even with that, he won hands down. So much so, the dems dumped their nominee (very democratically). The agreement with BIDEN's campaign is null and void.
And you somehow accept the propaganda, like booby does, that he doesn't want to debate?
He's already said he wants 2 or 3 debates. But the dems are going to have to negotiate this time. It is THEM that are afraid of even a level playing field. Please WAKE UP ear. I think you are capable of it, unlike most of the others.

I didn't say he didn't want to debate. I said he wants a debate on his terms, which isn't really a debate at all. Yes, he did agree to a debate on Biden's terms, and yes, the Democrats should negotiate terms for any future debates. But like it or not, the CNN debate was closer to what a presidential debate should be.

I say a townhall meeting where questions come from citizens and not media moderators is what a presidential debate should be. Like it or not.

I stand (or actually sit) corrected. A town hall meeting is not a debate. For that matter, a "presidential debate" isn't one, either. Having been on a debate team in high school I know what a debate is like. That said, I don't see why both models couldn't be held - a town hall in one location and a moderated "press conference" (for lack of a better term) debate somewhere else. But I'm not in charge of either candidate's campaign.

That would be ideal if we can't have an actual debate (as in the format of HS debates).

Trump is a shithead. I like how he blamed the stock market on Biden - ok, but he had many bigger single day plunges. And the national debt - he ran that up quite a bit too.
He pretty much needs his followers to be uninformed and a debate might just change that.

At yesterday's press conference Trump agreed to meet Harris for the ABC-sponsored debate on September 10. He then challenged her to two additional debates, one on NBC and one on FOX.

So let me get this straight. Vice President Harris stood firm, Donny tried to wriggle out of his agreement and then ultimately caved (as bullies always do when confronted with strength), and you think that reflects well on him. Got it. --Bob

Y’all can dish it out, but don’t seem to be able to take it too good.
Anyway, as far as your comments regarding my wife, you must think I’m pretty dumb.

And you pretend to be a lawyer? President Trump had no agreement of any kind with Kamala Harris. What makes you think he ever did? And what makes you think you can make anyone else think that?
Oh, it's supposed to be between the democrat and republican nominees? May I remind you, neither of them were the nominees of their party at the time of the first debate or at the time the agreement was made with biden, which trump agreed to even though the dems stacked the deck against him.
You are definitely unhinged, counselor.
