Apparently, only Israel has the will and the courage to stop them. The current puppet masters that control the Executive Branch and the democrat party have decided it's in their best interests to side with the terrorists. And the terrorists know that the current administration won't do anything about it. Especially now that biden is the lamest of lame ducks and Harris, if she even has any say in it, is on record sympathizing with Hamas. They have no clue that Israel is really fighting a 3 front war. Well, nine months of yours and Netanyahu's tactics haven't resulted in peace or in eradicating Hamas; just in potentially escalating the war and alienating almost every other civilized country as a result of their tactics. And blaming Hezbollah isn't going to bring any of those children back to life or the thousands of dead Palestinians or the untold innocent Lebanese who will be killed if and when Israel launches a retaliatory strike against whoever it thinks is responsible for this latest attack. (By the way, Hezbollah denies it was responsible for the attack, and there are plenty of splinter groups capable of this latest strike.)

We could have been well on the way to stopping this if Israel had agreed to a ceasefire and the beginning of serious negotiations. That would have led the way to the return of the hostages and the neutralization of Hamas and a start towards the only effective long-term solution, a real two-state solution. But Netanyahu didn't want that, because he knows once this war is over, he's out. The ones who might effectively stop this are the other Arab countries who aren't too happy about Hamas. But the wholesale killings of Palestinian civilians and the lack of a ceasefire make their assistance less and less likely.

And by the way, I'm not suggesting that Israel not take action. Instead, they should do what they did effectively 40 years ago when incidents like this happened. Find out who was responsible and launch a targeted strike (either air or commandos) against them. Their intelligence capabilities are much better, and there's less of a risk of this turning into a full-scale invasion of Lebanon.

You are assuming that Hamas is a civilized group and that they want a two state solution. Every shred of real world evidence proves otherwise. Israel has tried everything, has agreed to everything and has endured everything for 75+ years. And the Palestinian leaders have spit in the face at every proposed solution. No other Arab state wants them. And for good reason. Show me one instance of any humanitarian thing done or said by the Palestinian or Hamas leadership. Just one.

For once and for all, let Israel, the only true free state in the region, deal with their situation as they need to. And since they are our ally, support them. The status quo is not acceptable. They have learned. You haven't.

How's that working out for them? They've had almost ten months and one of the world's best-equipped and most sophisticated militaries and intelligence forces, and they haven't been able to free the hostages (including several Americans) or subdue a piece of land the size of Philadelphia. They have been able to kill tens of thousands of civilians and alienate the entire civilized world except for Donald Trump and you. They haven't even been able to define their end goal beyond vague statements about "eliminating Hamas." Or what needs to happen after that. Do you have any idea what "eliminating Hamas" means?

Being an ally doesn't mean blindly following Netanyahu down whatever path he decides to go. Netanyahu is not very popular in Israel and would lose an election big time if it were held today. He understands that when this war is over, he's done politically. He wants to keep this going by maintaining unachievable vague goals as long as possible. And if a few thousand more Palesinians or a few dozen more hostages die, well it's all Hamas' fault.

For my human oriented charitable contributions-I choose to focus on the "Wounded Warrior Project" and sometimes "Paralyzed Veterans of America." There are probably hundreds (thousands?) of worthy charitable organizations, but I choose to focus on these one or two instead of sending a few cents to thousands of organizations.

For the conservation side-I generally focus on the "Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation" and the "American Battlefield Trust" instead of sending a few cents each to hundreds (thousands?) of worthy organizations.

Israelis are on strike and protesting because they see what their government has been doing has failed. The hostages are no closer to getting home.

It turns out killing a bunch of children has not changed the resolve of the Palestinian leadership.

And more rockets are getting launched at Israel and it is threatening to become a wider conflict.

It’s clearly in the interest of the United States to force Israel to back off, to prevent a wider conflict. Additionally, there other countries around the world that have their own problems, and they resist US help, because they point out our somewhat hypocritical support for an Israeli regime that has no problem bombing children.

Israel’s government is straining under its purported principles. If we truly support democracy in the Middle East, perhaps we should ask Israel to reconsider and act more consistent with it states democratic heritage.

The downside, for some here, would be a fewer dead brown babies, but I would ask you to set that aside in the interest and needs of American foreign policy.
