WWTBAM Bored

President Biden has tested positive for COVID after reporting various respiratory symptoms (the campaign called them "mild" symptoms) and cancelling a scheduled speech before the annual conference of a National Hispanic organization (he addressed the annual conference of the NAACP yesterday). He's flying back to Delaware to self-isolate and taking Paxlovid. I didn't know this, but he tested positive one time previously during his Presidency in July 2022 and had a rebound case a few days later. His earlier case was reported in the press but I didn't notice it.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. One of our judges is out with it this week, as well.

Hope he gets better. I don't wish ill health on anyone.

But it seems he's had some second thoughts about dropping out of the race. He only had one circumstance last week, now he's adding to it. Looks like the writing's on the wall.

But I didn't see anything about stepping down.

I've seen a few videos and pictures of Biden since he was alledgedly diagnosed wit Covid. He was not wearing a mask in any of them. There is at least one lie in there somewhere: Biden has Covid, masks protect, and/or Biden cares for those around him. I'm going for all three.

Interesting side note: one of my co-workers had a checkup and was referred for more in-depth blood work; subsequently sent to an oncologist for even more in-depth blood work. Fast forward two months, and they can't find anything wrong that would explain the wonky test results. At last appointment this week, her doc says to her, "It was probably the Covid vaccine and/or boosters." Hmmm.

Somebody said that pouring ivermectin down your spine can cause that, too, but at least you’ll get the worms and what not.
