Of course, ifonly. Everything will be worse when trump gets elected. That's what he's all about. That's what all us MAGA people want. We want everything to be worse than it is now!
You know what? I can make statements just as ignorant and shallow as you. I might as well when addressing you. No use trying to reason with you.
Flock, I think he comes here because he thinks he is so much smarter than us, but as I have said many times-he might be smart, but he is not wise. He has been told his entire life by everybody he knows how smart he is, but I don't think he is capable of deeper than surface thoughts.

He has this fixation on throwing "dead Gazan kids" in our faces, but he doesn't seem to get that Hamas-etc wants as many "dead Gazan kids" as possible for sympathy points in the west.

He has also never learned that Gazan kids (since at least 2006) have been mainly taught to hate Israel and Jews-and are being prepared for their "rightful" place as martyrs.

Basically, those above a certain age (maybe 12?-maybe even younger?) are already lost and will be almost impossible to fix.

Somehow, something has to change to fix younger kids and those yet to be born. But that kind of deeper thinking requires getting beyond the surface and is not as much fun as throwing "dead Gazan kids" in our faces hundreds of times.

I am sure he will attack me for this-but I learned a long time ago-not to automatically respect "Smart" people, especially when they have shown no wisdom and a lack of deeper thought.
He can't discern between what he wants and what is legal or moral, nor between what others want and what he wants.

We want controlled boarders. To him that means we hate Hispanics (whom he refers to as brown people even though people of all races are coming across our borders illegally from all countries and races, and he thinks we're racist).

We want criminals to be held accontable for thier actions. He thinks that means we hate black people (another racist assumption on his part that criminals = blacks).
Somehow it's forgotten that every one of the illegal aliens that Trump wants to deport have, as their first action in this country, committed a felony.
No group of people in this country support immigration more than true MAGA folks. BUT IT HAS TO BE LEGAL!

If we have a shortfall of birthrate in this country, we should acknowledge it and adjust our LEGAL Immigration quotas higher, and encourage citizens to start and have larger families. And discouraging abortion and offering other options.
Exactly the opposite of what the left wants, and is doing. And they're doing it for political reasons: to manipulate the electoral college and artifically (and illegally) increase their congressional representation. Why else would ANYONE be for supporting a completely open border and wanting non-citizens to vote?

You not knowing about someone or something is as surprising as the sun rising.
So you knew of this guy? I've never heard of him, either. But I don't read tabloids or watch tabloid t.v.
He has a popular tour called Kill Tony where he and a Dr Phil imitator try to find local comedy talent. He also was the emcee for the Tom Brady Roast on Netflix
He's a not particularly funny "comic" who said something stupid, untrue, and pretty repulsive. Meanwhile, the sitting President of the US calls fully half the country trash. That ought to work out well.

He had a hard time saying 'deporable' or 'irredeemable'. He stutters sometimes, remember.

It's hard to fathom. All these supposedly smart people. And they have no clue about what motivates or puts off their opposition. They keep doing things that do the opposite of what they are apparently trying to do. Do you really think calling me 'garbage' is going to get me to vote for you? Or anyone else who doesn't already have TDS? It just strengthens my conviction never to support you or anyone who continues to support you. And you call us the 'party of division'?

Cool rally, indeed.

For the Harris campaign.

Certainly a possibility that it could end up affecting the Pennsylvania votes enough to make the difference.

How ‘bout cackling about that, Tucker?

I don't know off-hand the exact number of American voters of Puerto Rican descent who live in Pennsylvania, but I'm pretty sure that it's more than 80,000--which just happens to be the size of President Biden's victory over the orange felon in Pennsylvania in 2020. How many Puerto Rican voters live in, say, Michigan or North Carolina? Another 50,000 each? Georgia must have at least 11,780 Puerto Ricans, right? And I'm pretty sure there a lot of white Republicans in all of the above states who are sick and tired of seeing the mean and nasty attitude from the orange felon and all of his enablers, seeing blood coming out of their eyes, seeing blood coming out of their... wherevers.

At this point, I'm starting to think that the orange felon is deliberately trying to lose the election just so that he can instigate terrorist attack 2.0 afterward. He's probably already strongarmed Mike Johnson into trying to steal the election through the House.

You may be right, in another universe.

First, Trump did not make the comment about Puerto Rico. Second, the comedian was a "roast" comedian, not as classy but along the lines of Don Rickles and was a poor choice for the entertainment portion of the rally. But, at the end of the day, it was not Trump's words.

However, Jod Biden DID say these words..."The only garbage I see floating out there is his [Trump's] supporters". So, a comedian calls an island, not the people, "floating island of garbage" and it's "Trump's words and meaning" but what Biden actually said are not his meaning. Got it, you idiots.

80,000 supposedly insulted Puerto Ricans vs 56 million insulted Trump supporters.

Puerto Rico, my heart's devotion
Let it sink back in the ocean.
Puerto Rico, You lovely island,
Island of tropical breezes.
Always the pineapples growing,
Always the coffee blossom blowing.

Puerto Rico, You ugly island,
Island of tropic diseases.
Always the hurricanes blowing,
Always the population growing,
And the money owing,
And the babies crying,
And the bullets flying.
I like the island Manhattan.
Smoke on your pipe and put that in!

I like to be in America!
O.K. by me in America!
Everything free in America
For a small fee in America!

I like the city of San Juan.
I know a boat you can get on.
Hundreds of flowers in full bloom.
Hundreds of people in each room!

Automobile in America.
Chromium steel in America.
Wirespoke wheel in American,
Very big deal in America!

I'll drive a Buick through San Juan
If there's a road you can drive on.
I'll give my cousins a free ride.
How you get all of them inside?

Immigrants goes to America.
Many hellos in America.
Nobody knows in American,
Puerto Rico's in America!

I'll bring a T.V. to San Juan.
If there's a current to turn on!
I'll give them new washing machine.
What have they got there to keep clean?

I like the shores of America.
Comfort is yours in America.
Knobs on doors in American,
Wall-to-wall floors in America!

When I will go back to San Juan.
When you will shut up and get gone!
Everyone there will give big cheer!
Everyone there will have moved here

Boy. I didn't expect to trigger such an emotional response. Feeling a little testy?

I'll stand by my observation that the "cool rally" could possibly end up affecting enough Pennsylvania voters to make a difference.

Every Pennsylvania voter who might not have been motivated enough to vote but now will vote for Harris, or who was going to vote for Trump but will now just not vote at all, amounts to a one-vote difference. Every Pennsylvania voter who would have voted for Trump but will now vote for Harris amounts to a two-vote swing in the outcome.

If your argument is that without the "cool rally" Biden would not have said what he did, and that the vote differential that will result from those comments -- and where they will occur -- will be more impactful than any benefit to the Harris campaign from that rally, you might be right. I don't think that you are, though. (I do think, though, that Trump is likely to be able to successfully fundraise off of them.)

I'm not going to try to quarrel with your take about how people should react to what you consider to be the Rickles-like comments, or Biden's. It looks to me, though, like you're letting your emotions interfere with clarity here about their potential impact.

I don't know. Maybe you're more knowledgeable and your instincts are better when it comes to politics than I've been giving you credit for. But, again, I don't think so.

Did you not hear? Hincliffe's commenting was actually a cutting insight into Puerto Rico's waste management infrastructure concerns, and Trumpers have detailed knowledge of that problem, so they did not take the comment to be racist at all. This was just like the time Hinchcliffe mocked an Asian accent - also a commentary on Puerto Rico's infrastructure.

Why do people keep track of movies or music or TV shows? It's almost like this is a forum that was originally created for people who keep track of minutiae - before anti-knowledge Trumpers started shitting everywhere.

Didn't address question. But that's okay. Because "Trumpers shitting everywhere" are responding to palsied minded twits in the POLITICL LOUNGE. Move elsewhere.
Well, then

There's this: I am not a 'Trumper'. I am a citizen of the United States who is voting for the only rational choice we have for President of the United States.

I’m sorry. I guess I implied things too much. Is it possible that someone who goes to this message board is interested in trivia, and may simply keep track of things because that is what they do? This is not a Wheel of Fortune fandom website, after all.

That made no sense at all. You know full well that comments on this particular section of the bored are political. Keeping track of what they do? What who does? I hope you're enjoying your keeping track of ."things"

Looks like your TDS is beginning to wane.

I don't know; this "anti-knowlege Trumper" did pretty well with her knowledge of minutiae.
