The only indisputable fact about Springfield is that somehow thousands of people from another country, who aren't citizens of this country, are now living in Springfield, Ohio. How did they manage to get here? And they are somehow being supported, either by the government or by getting employed in a small city.

According to the governor of Ohio, a Republican (but probably a RINO), "These Haitians came in here to work because there were jobs, and they filled a lot of jobs. And if you talk to employers, they've done a very, very good job and they work very, very hard." FWIW, the vast majority of them are here legally.

Why and how is this happening? Maybe the media conglomerate can spend some of their time finding that out for us?

Google is your friend. I did a simple search and found several pages of links. The gist of it all is that they are here legally, having gone through the CBP One mobile app after arriving in Mexico. This allows them to enter the US and be processed through what's called the "parole program", after which they obtain Temporary Protected Status; it also allows them to get work permits. Others have arrived after applying for asylum, and given the conditions in Haiti, that should be fairly obvious.

For people who pay attention to politics and the issues, it was brutally obvious she was lying and pandering to people who do not pay attention. Yeah, sure she has a plan for everything. So does everyone else, but what the hell is it? And if she had any, why hasn't she implemented it by now? And if she has implemented it, why are the results so bad?

Trump did much the same (pandering and lying). It's what politicians do. As for Trump's (and your) question, she is the Vice President, not the President. Moreover Congress has been a stumbling block for some of the proposals. Just as it was for some of Trump's.

And her answer to 'are we better off now than 4 years ago?' showed how completely out of touch she is and how much she has and is intending to hoodwink the American people.

"Better off" is a relative term and very individualistic. Four years ago we had COVID, so in that sense we are better off because it's not a pandemic. The stock market is higher than it was, unemployment is lower. Yes, prices are higher, but the rate of inflation has slowed to its lowest since 2021. Personally I feel better off, but I'm sure there are those who don't.

This was the main point of Trump’s closing statement. Actually, the Biden-Harris administration has implemented a lot in 3½ years: pandemic recovery, infrastructure, strengthening Medicare, rebuilding alliances, etc. They’ve fulfilled more of their campaign promises than Trump did. Since Harris is running as a new fresh face, she has to propose new ideas that aren’t part of the current administration’s agenda.

Trump’s first term was hobbled by unprecedented turnover. His “you’re fired” business model may be profitable in the private sector but was a bust in Washington. In his second term, he wants to recategorize many career civil service employees (Flock’s swamp) so they too can be fired at will. No wonder Ear distrusts him.

What do you know about sane people?

I guess these 4 guys carrying dead geese down the street could be actual legal waterfowl hunters that follow the seasons and such and are just walking through town with their morning bag. Nothing about being armed though in the police report as one would expect for legal hunters with no car or such.

OR-they could be carrying easier targets from the local duck pond. Toss a little bread on the waters and the next thing you know-Haitian BBQ.

I shouldn’t need to point out that catching game fowl without a license is a different level of offence than snatching and eating pets.
