You are mixing up cause and effect here. From the State Department memo adopting Times New Roman:

This is an issue because Trump is president and made it an issue. Rubio, acting as a conduit for Trump, made this about DEI. This change back would never have happened under any other president, Democrat or Republican. And, as a sidenote, whatever it cost to switch to Calibri under Biden, it probably cost the same or more (due to inflation) to switch back under Trump.

It is highly questionable, regardless of the 'experts' that SSS invariably digs up, whether this was any benefit to anyone, except to use as an 'achievement' for the DEI department, which, overall, was and is a detriment to our society.

It has been a benefit to me, flock. Sidewalk cuts, for instance, make it possible for me to navigate streets. Providing access to buildings allows me to attend trivia events that I would not other wise be able to. Perhaps before you blow off accessibility as a "DEI 'achievement'", try rolling a mile in someone else's wheelchair.
