I'm sure he's been busy today along with the rest of the poll workers in Georgia. We had an unusual off-year statewide election for two Public Service Commission seats. Although the state is divided into five PSC districts, voting for the PSC seats is statewide. These elections were delayed until now because of litigation. The last time a Democrat had won a statewide election for a state office (unlike our two Senators) was 2006.
With what I'm sure was Flock's help and vote, two Democrats knocked off Republican incumbents in the PSC elections, each getting over 60% of the vote, a virtually unheard of total for a statewide election in Georgia. Along with governor's races in VA and NJ and other races around the country, it's been a great night for Democrats as the public weighed in on Donald Trump's performance.
Congratulations to Flock

Re: Congratulations to Flock
I know Flock responded to the overwhelming election of two Democrats to the Georgia Public Service Commission last month with his usual nonsense about lawfare and rigged elections, but more congratulations are in order tonight.
Democrat Eric Gisler defeated Republican Mack "Dutch" Guest by approximately 2% in a special election for the Georgia State House in the Athens area. The district includes parts of Clarke County, home of the University of Georgia, but it also includes some rural surrounding counties. Donald Trump carried the district with 56% of the vote in 2024, and the previous Republican representative, who resigned to go back into private business, won his 2024 election with 61% of the vote. I'm sure Flock is excited by the news. But if that wasn't enough to stir his innards...
Democrat Eileen HIggins was elected mayor of Miami, defeating Republican Emilio Gonzales, who had Trump's endorsement, by 19 points. Higgins is the first Democrat to be elected mayor of Miami, which is now majority Hispanic, in 30 years.

Re: Congratulations to Flock
In a city with around 90K eligible voters (total population 117K and 22.6 percent under 18) you got 60K votes? Maybe that election should be looked into.tlynn78 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 10, 2025 10:18 amHuh. It helps to have a track record of competency. Technically a county election, not city, but still..elwoodblues wrote: ↑Wed Dec 10, 2025 5:20 pmIn a city with around 90K eligible voters (total population 117K and 22.6 percent under 18) you got 60K votes?
