Trump is trying to pull refugee protection for Venezuelans (remember, they are fleeing what is one of the most left-wing regimes in the world, according to Trumpers) but is now talking about granting refugee status to white South African farmers.

I find it interesting that Sec. Noem thinks that the situation in Venezuela has somehow greatly improved - this is news to those who have observed the situation, especially following the country's most recent sham election.

While flock/whitefailure might think that I am about to play the race card, I think it's also plausible that Trump is doing this to appease Musk.

Yes, they too are helping Venezuelans enter our country.

It is sad that their country is so corrupt and poor. It didn't used to be that way. Venezuela used to be a very wealthy country. They let it get there. They need to fix their own country rather than take advantage of ours. We have our own problems we need to take care of.

That has always been the left's argument about the military. That is now our argument about illegal immigration and foreign aid. And government corruption.

I realize your whole shitty world view is that, if it’s not happening to you, it’s not a problem.

But you don’t want to do nothing with Venezuela, so when there’s a refugee crisis, all you want to do is ship them back into a bad situation.

There are other ways of dealing with the problems Venezuela created for itself than transferring their population to our country, including all their criminals. They are creating a bad situation for US. Perhaps you don't understand that and think virtue signaling is going to solve all problems.
