Yes, Ifonly, there is another way. Enforce the border and dissuade people from even attempting to swim across the river in the first place. Close down and prosecute the NGOs and government agencies that are promoting and facilitating illegal entry into this country. Actually fight the drug cartels instead of enabling them. And deport the criminals that the current administration has let into this country for their own political purposes. And let it be known the world over that illegally entering this country will NOT be tolerated anymore. You can come into this country under a certain set of rules and laws, which will be enforced. And if you break these rules or laws, you will be removed from this country, because you are a threat to the legal citizens and foreign visitors and an insult and slap in the face to the millions of people we welcome into this country who have done it legally.

Which is exactly what Trump did 4 years ago and what he has promised to do again.
