FNGD Q2 - FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2008 - IN THE OLD DAYS.

B - In the old days (1966 to be exact) there was a baseball team called the Toronto Maple Leafs, which played in the International League and was a farm team of the Boston Red Sox. Managing that team --- some one named Dick Williams.

But that is not my point..

The International League has featured at various times the Montreal Royals, the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Ottawa Lynx and a team nicknamed the Sugar Kings, in this rather distant city.

G - (I THINK THIS WAS IN 1960) Lerner and Loewe brought this musical to Toronto for its previews. Thinking that would be a lot further from New York than Boston, and that the NY press would stay away. NOT.

Havana, Cuba

The Sound of Music

I'm not entirely sure those match-up with whatever the exact questions are.

The questions were fine. Don't worry about me. I'm just out of FNGD practice. I'll get back in sync soon.
