FNGD Q5 - PUT YUR SEAT IN THAT UPRIGHT POSITION>>>

if that position proves to be almost horizontal soon, it' s trouble...

B - Barack Obama recently survived a declared emergency on board his aircraft.

A rather disturbing story, in which the plane had limited pitch control (nose up, or nose down, in other words), at 31K feet. Due to the inflation in the tail of the aircraft of an emergency chute. Pressing on the elevator cables. If i undrstand right. Things returned to normal at a lower altitude, and the emergency landing went on without further ado.

That plane was, and thankfully still is, of this type:

1 - B-727
2 - Concorde
3 - MD-80
4 - Fokker 70.

G - Hillary Clinton's theme song -- the one which was voted on the Internet =-- and -- eventually -- replaced, had its first use as an commercial for

1 - Aeroflot
2 - Jet Blue
3 - British Airways
4 - Air Canada

No idea on either. I didn't hear about the Obama plane trouble, and I've forgotten Hillary's song.

So, WAGs:

an MD-80.

And here's what the pilot was probably remembering, in terms of pitch control in another aircraft in that series:

Air Canada.

AC was coming out of bankruptcy and hired Celine Dion to do the big new theme which would embody its new age. Then became a pop hit. Not really a great background for a theme song. But I guess Hillary wouldnt have liked "We will, we will rock you".

I messed up your post. I am so sorry. I didn't mean to. I thought I was quoting, but I guess I hit the edit button.

I would fix it, but I would mess it up more.

That was Christie1111's post that I messed up.

Wow!

If I had been drinking I may have not remembered adding the Newfoundland part. But being sober I was REALLY confused!

Thanks for clarifying.

I think I better get a drink now!
