STARTER FRIDAY AUGUST 8, 2008

#1 Post by etaoin22 » Fri Aug 08, 2008 8:39 pm

Place in chronologic order the Olympic Games accompanied by mascots with the following first names:

1 - Amik
2 - Misha
3 - Sam
4 - Waldi.

(No, Youppi! was not originally the Olympic mascot..
He will come up again...)

4-2-3-1

I'm thinking I might have three out of four in the correct order.

Or not.

The only one I knew was Misha. And that doesn' help place it in any order

play me a rock n roll song, or dont play me no song at all.....

Waldi is the Daschschschund from Munich. And not the guy who sang what is above.

Amik from Montreal.

Mischa the bear from Moscow.

Sam from L.A.

4123.

According to the reference I checked, Munich introduced the concept of mascot. Thus, another German innovation, like all the stuff which first has been done in the Hitler Olympics, like the torch stuff.

I believe in the usefulness of useless information.

I couldn't even tell you they were all mascots.
